As I progress deeper into the subgenres of metal I am discovering more and more interesting stuff. The most recent discovery of mine is Grindcore.
I am not sure what sets Grindcore apart from the other Core genres but I still really like it. I think what makes 'Grind' is the disembowlment references. Not quite sure exactly why but all the songs sound gory. Not sure in what way exactly I get the feeling of gore and blood and such but it is the feeling that comes of it.
