Algebraic long divison. This will only be known to AS level mathemticians and Maddy but when algebraic long division fits into perfect place and slots nicely it gives this warm feeling inside. Must be what Mrs Gale feels when she solved our nasty derived formula prep.
And teaching it is satisfying as it all fits into perfect place. Though I'm not sure if they get it. Oh well, always next time
